The New Canticle
editors
The New Canticle is run by Sara Son & marion eames white.
Sara & marion connected during their MFA program at UC Irvine, where they wrote a lot of poems that were not about God, except they were. They remain lovingly chained to each other through the fires of faith, writerly industry, and other ineffable curiosities.
Their dogs are friends, too.
Sara is a writer from Queens. She studies technology, religion, and labor at UCLA.
marion is a theologian-in-training at Yale Divinity School.
